A no-logs policy is only worth something if it's specific.

So here is the specific version. None of the following is recorded, stored or kept anywhere on our side — not temporarily, not in aggregate.

§ 02 What the app does collect

And here is the other half, stated just as plainly.

Claiming to collect nothing at all would be untrue. The app itself reports a small amount of technical information so that it can be kept working and so that subscriptions function. None of it describes your traffic.

§ 03 Getting started

Three taps, no forms.

There is no registration step, so there is nothing to fill in before you can use it.

Step 01

Install and open

iOS asks once for permission to add a VPN configuration. That's the standard system prompt every VPN needs.

Step 02

Connect

One control turns the tunnel on. The VPN badge appears in the iOS status bar while it is active.

Step 03

Carry on as normal

Everything works the way it did, with your traffic encrypted between the device and the exit server.

§ 04 Questions

Straight answers.

How can there be no account?

Access is tied to the App Store purchase on your device, not to a profile on our side. The app checks with Apple whether a subscription is active. That is the whole mechanism — which is why there is no email address, password or profile anywhere in it.

What does “no logs” actually exclude?

The addresses you visit, your DNS lookups, the contents of your traffic, and any session record tied to an identity. What the app does report is listed openly in the section above and in the Privacy Policy — technical data about the app itself, not about what you do online.

Why does the app ask to add a VPN configuration?

Because that is the only way iOS permits an app to route traffic. The prompt comes from iOS, not from us, and it appears for every VPN app on the platform. You can remove the configuration at any time in Settings → General → VPN & Device Management.

Will it slow my connection down?

Some overhead is unavoidable — traffic is encrypted and takes a longer path. How noticeable that is depends on your own connection and how far away the exit server is.

How do I cancel a subscription?

In the Settings app: tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Shielded VPN, then Cancel. Subscriptions are managed by Apple, so deleting the app does not cancel one. Details are on the Support page.

Something isn't working. Who do I write to?

A person reads support@shielded-vpn.com. Include your iOS version, device model and app version, and it will take one reply instead of three.
